The Personal Computer/Network
Technology (PC/NETWORKING) Program at Collins
College is designed to provide the knowledge,
skills and experience needed to perform entry-level
tasks on IBM compatible and Macintosh systems.
These tasks include setup, configuration, up-grades
diagnosis and repair. Additionally, the program
provides education in Local Area Networking (LAN).
Emphasis in this area is placed on setup, configuration,
management, diagnosis and restoration. The program
also provides education on the installation,
configuration and management of operation system
software such as MS-DOS, Windows, Mac OS, UNIX/Linux,
Microsoft Windows NT and Novell Net ware, as
well as various applications software
